You are solving for a prediction statement as found at the end of the discussion in Volume 2 Chapter 5. The formula for solution is actually found in Volume 2 Chapter 3 at the end of 3.4. Read this part specifically to solve for the problem and then answer the questions in the assignment quiz. You already have been given the mean ( X bar), the standard deviation, the sample population size, and the confidence level being sought. You will have to solve the standard error of the mean and find the t value. Again, Volume 2 Chapter 3 section 3.4 steps you right through it. The t value is where the confidence interval and the degrees of freedom (df = n-1) intersect.
