Assignment Instructions/ Description
Read the short story in the attached document. As with all the previous weekend HW readings and writing activities, write about two pages in response to, analysis of, the text. For this text, your written response and analysis may follow any the previous HW models. It may also consider addressing these questions:
-Does the author have a purpose or main idea in this story, beyond entertainment? Explain.
-How does the author's use of humor relate to the more serious topic of logical fallacies?
-How might a fictional, non-scholarly source like this be used in a more formal research project?
**-Find one article or source on your own, and carefully analyze it for fallacies. The fallacies you find may be from the "Love is a fallacy" story; they may also include well-known others such as Ad Hominem, Red Herring, Straw Man, False Premise (different than Contradictory Premises from the story).
