Training systems help organizations to achieve strategic goals and contribute to employee career development by enhancing employee knowledge, skills, and abilities. However, these initiatives are often costly and time-consuming, requiring substantial organizational investments. It is important to monitor the effectiveness of training programs to ensure there is a return on investment and that employees have the support needed to succeed in the organization. There are evidence-based strategies available for accurately assessing training effectiveness.
For this assignment, you will write a 4–6 page paper outlining your plan for evaluating a training program of your choice. You may choose a training program with which you are familiar or have researched, one described in the textbook, or a training program that you create for purposes of this assignment. Note that the focus should be on training evaluation, and you should only present a brief overview of the training program.
