Part 2: Student Response (Respond kindly to the student below post) Elizabeth Farley RE: Reviewing Personality Traits Hello classmates and professor. We did work with our results of the DISC assessment through out the entire term in JGR100. I felt that my results were pretty accurate and did an overall good job of explaining my personality type bother professional and personal. I was highest scoring in S as steadiness. It stated I had extreme strengths in areas of working independent, working with organization and discipline. I enjoy knowing the tasks ahead of me and getting the job done correctly and on time. It says I work well when I can develop relationships as well which is all true of me. When I work as a team it is important for me to be likedand the stable reliable one in the group. I also scored next highest as a C personality type. This means I work methodically and conscientious when I do things. Once again being the one who wants to get the job done. This makes me an excellent addition to the team because I am confident in my abilities, skills, and knowledge. I work well with others but do not become controlling or overbearing which can be things that alienate you from team members. The DISC assessment was a valuable tool that helped me learn a lot about myself, but to also see ways to make improvements to my own ways as well as ways to help my group. I usually can use these results to know that I will do a good job at all that I do and that I will often choose roles that allow me to help others and be very organized and detailed in my work.
