Film ReviewThe works of documentary filmmakers provide critical and analytical depth to the emotional, material, economic, political, ethical and social complexities. They also offer primary insight into the amalgamation of peoples and ideas that color social movement. For this assignment, you will choose one film from the included list. While considering the historical context (from readings, lectures, and discussions) in which your film was produced, We want you to write a paper that considers the following question: How does your film’s social movement/revolution connect to the course material covered thus far in the semester? For example, what were the prevailing ideologies or structures that they sought to change? Did they have a clear vision of tomorrow? What were their dilemma actions; did oppression backfire? Etc. Details:This paper is thesis-driven. Your thesis should answer the above primary question and the body of the paper should seek to argue and provide evidence for the thesis. Punctuation, grammar, and spelling are of the utmost importance and will weigh heavily on your grade.The paper should be 3 pages in length (not including works cited), double-spaced, with 1” margins, and 12 point font.
