Should Christians be embarrassed of the doctrine of sin today? Write an essay with this in mind...................In an allegedly “postmodern” world, tolerance for ideologies other than our own is said to be the only absolute and controlling ideology. Inasmuch, as its doctrine of “sin” suggests that all humans are inherently flawed, Christianity is often viewed as taking an intolerant view of others. Should Christians be embarrassed of the doctrine of sin today? At the least, should Christianity try to soften what it says about the human condition so as to be more readily acceptable to a broader world? What about in a missionary context? please incorporate this statement "Sin is any lack of conformity active or passive to the moral law of God. this may be a matter of act, of thought, or any dispostion or state ( Erickson, 2015, p. 205). Sin is incomplete fulfillment of God Standards ( p. 205) From the evangelist prospective. the problem lies in the fact that humans since the fall are sinful my nature and lives in a world in which powerful forces seek to induce them to sin.
