Review the Leadership Theory Paper instructions for the final paper in Week 6.Identify three distinct psychological theories of leadership you will be using as the basis of your final paper, and briefly discuss your rationale for selecting each theory (two to three sentences per theory).Explain how providing your rationale has helped you determine which theories you want to explore for your final Leadership Theory Paper.Diversity and Leadership
For the second part of this discussion post, you will go beyond an initial comprehension of leadership theories or approaches to explore the influence of leadership theory on issues of diversity in education and the workplace. Choose one of the following articles focusing on different aspects of diversity and leadership:
Gender-Typing of Leadership: Evaluations of Real and Ideal Managers articleMaking Way for Paradigms of Diversity Leadership articleDiscuss your reaction to what the authors of the article say about potential barriers that limit women’s and/or minorities’ access to leadership roles. Do you agree or disagree with them? Offer your own thoughts about the challenges that women and/or minorities face regarding being limited access.
Your initial post should be at least 300 words.
Guided Response: Respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings by Day 7. Each of your responses to your classmates should be at least 100 words in length. In your response post, clarify, correct, or corroborate your classmates’ posts on these aspects of diversity and leadership.

For this course, and all courses, you have the ability to use RefWorks, a bibliographic management tool available to you for free through the Ashford University Library to help you stay organized. Before you continue, take a moment to review the RefWorks 2.0 Quick Start Guide (Links to an external site.) and Creating A RefWorks Account (Links to an external site.).
In your Week 3 journal, you will be asked to evaluate your experience using RefWorks. Be sure to make use of the tool so that you have the needed information to craft a quality analysis.
As you begin to review articles, as required for discussions and assignments, take the initiative to collect those in RefWorks which might be of use to you as you write your final paper. Don’t wait until the last minute to begin searching for and collecting relevant resources.
