Assignment Instructions/ Description
Both Acts 15 and Galatians 2:1-10 detail a meeting in Jerusalem. Although the two accounts include many similarities, significant differences in details suggest that the two passages, in fact, record two different events.
You absolutely must support your conclusion with evidence from the text. Your response should cite (not directly quote) passages from Act 15 and Galatians 2 (or other sources within the biblical text) as evidence and explain how they support your decision.
You absolutely must include support from a minimum of three scholarly sources that have analyzed the available evidence and drawn conclusions about the relationship of these two passages. No internet sources and no sources written by authors prior to 1970 are permitted. You should evaluate these scholarly conclusions and decide for yourself if they are persuasive.
Due to the paper’s brevity, no direct quotations of primary or secondary sources are permitted. Instead synthesize, summarize, and paraphrase as needed, taking care to document all secondary sources with both in-text citations and bibliographic entries.
**DO NOT WRITE AN INTRODUCTION, GO RIGHT INTO THE ASSIGNMENT THAT IS ASKED. NO INTRODUCTION.**
