Assignment Instructions/ Description
The project is worth 186 points total and will entail researching a disorder relevant to the class based on the following guidelines. Each student will pick a topic on a disorder from the list below or an instructor approved topic. Students are responsible for researching their topic, creating a presentation and submitting a written report of your research.
Students will prepare a written report of their research following the required points below. The essay should be written in complete sentences using a narrative style. The findings of your research will also be presented as a video using a powerpoint or prezi presentation (with voice narration) or another way that you see fit to present your research. The video must be submitted as an mp4 file or can be uploaded to YouTube and submitting a link to view. The report must be submitted as a word document or rich text file. The write up will be submitted to Turn-it-in.com to check for plagiarism.
Researching your topic will entail searching the internet, going to the library, asking a reference librarian, to seek out reliable and valid sources. Wikipedia is not a source. At the end of your write up, you should cite all the sources you utilized when conducting your research. If you use a string of three or more words directly from the sources, the quote must be cited by using quotation marks and listed the name of the author and year of publication.
