Structure and Culture Plan [WLOs: 1, 2] [CLOs: 1, 2, 5, 6] Prior to beginning work on this assignment, review all the required reading and resources for the week. Then, review the case study in the Week 6 Final Paper. In a recent conversation, Mr. Chan has asked you to draft a plan to implement a change-ready organizational structure in the organization. He has also asked you to include a recommendation on how to change the culture of the organization to make it more adaptable to a major change initiative. In a paper of at least 1,000 words (excluding title, abstract, and reference pages) and citing at least two scholarly sources in addition to required readings, Construct a plan to implement a change-ready structure in the organization. Define what characterizes a change-ready structure. Identify specific elements of a change-ready organizational structure. Recommend the kind of structure that would be optimal for the organization in the case study. Outline a plan to implement the structure you have recommended. Construct an organizational chart reflecting the proposed organizational structure for HCSC. You may use the UAGC Writing Center resource, Tables, Images, and Appendices (Links to an external site.), for assistance. Propose recommendations to change the culture of the organization. Define the elements of organizational culture that support change and innovation in an organization. Identify the elements of organizational culture at HCSC that could be obstacles to change. Outline a plan to change the culture of the organization to make it more conducive to supporting change. Must use at least two scholarly sources in addition to required readings.
