‘ict Revolutions’: Final Paper Rubric and GuidelinesDear students,Below is the marking rubric for your final assessment, which shows what we expect from an‘Excellent’ paper. In general, these are the key requirements that we have for your paper:- It must discuss an ict that is not the printing press.- It must use academic references throughout, and at least three of these references shouldnot be course readings.- It should have an original title that captures the topic and approach of the paper. A title isnot the same as a research question – follow the example of the journal articles and bookchapters that you read, which do not use their central research question as their title.- It must contain an introductory paragraph that explains the paper’s approach to thequestion and gives an overview of the structure of the paper.- It must argue the question from multiple perspectives – a paper that only claims ‘Yes, thisict was revolutionary’, without considering alternative perspectives or counter-arguments,is insufficient.- It must contain a concluding paragraph that explains the paper’s central claim withreference to the arguments and evidence considered throughout the main body of thepaper.
