Assignment Instructions/ Description
Hello,I have applied to the citizenship and my children will be 18 soon. If the process will be done before their 18 birthday, they will receive the citizenship together with me; if not, they will have to wait 3 more years.I have downloaded my initial request to my online application (please see the request letter below, under my letter to USCIS National Benefits Center which needs to be revised), but I was told by supervisor of USCIS that it is better if I mail it to them as well. The supervisor I spoke with today sent a request to the USCIS National Benefits Center to expedite my naturalization application and I have the reference number of the request .Could you check my letter to the USCIS National Benefits Center and help me to add some conclusion (such as "could you please expedite my application" )to it? The letter, in my opinion, should be shorter than my initial letter so that they pay attention to my initial letter with explanation. My initial letter to USCISshould not be revised. As you can see, English Language is not my firs language.Thank you.My new letter which needs to be revised.USCIS National Benefits CenterRequest to Expedite Naturalization Process for My ChildrenTo Whom It May ConcernI am writing to respectfully request the expedited processing of my naturalization application and the citizenship status of my minor children.I have downloaded my initial request letter to my online application and I added it to this mail as well. The USCIS supervisor I spoke with today sent a request to the USCIS National Benefits Center to expedite my naturalization application; the reference number of the request is .........................Could you please take under consideration my initial letter as well as newspaperarticlesthatprovide additionalcontextandsupport tomyrequest?ConclusionSincerely, the initial letter (FYI)this letter should not be revised. it was already downloaded and I will add it to my today's mail to USCIS National Benefits CenterUSCISRequesttoExpedite NaturalizationProcessforMyChildrenTo Whom It May Concern,Iamwriting torespectfullyrequest theexpeditedprocessingofmynaturalizationapplicationand the citizenship status of my minor children. It is my sincere desire that my children are granted Americancitizenship alongsideme, andIkindly seekyourassistancein ensuringtheirsafetyand well-being.As indicated in the enclosed questionnaire, my children, including my son, will reach the age of 18 on October 18, 2023. Recently, I became aware of a concerning law enacted in Russia that stipulatesconscriptionformilitaryservice ofallmenaged18andabove willnowtakeplaceonline through the official website. This law pertains to both military service and war mobilization concerning Ukraine. Previously, a physical summons had to be served to the conscript.Beforetheimplementationofthislaw, myson Fedorwouldhavebeen exempt from conscription whileresiding intheUnitedStates. However, duetothisnewlaw,onceheturns18,hewillreceive an electronic summons and will be required to appear before the draft board, irrespective of his current place of residence. Failing to comply with this summons would result in the loss of his civil rights and could potentially lead to unpredictable circumstances.Given these aforementioned circumstances, I humbly request your kind assistance in expediting the naturalization process for my children. By granting them American citizenship in a timely manner, they would be able to live securely in the United States as American citizens.Ihavetaken thelibertyofincludingnewspaperarticlesthatprovide additionalcontextandsupport tomyrequest.Thesearticles, titled"Leaveassoonaspossible:Newconscriptionlawraisesfresh fearsofmobilizationathomeandabroad"(Aronova,M.,Aleksandrov,A.,&Standish,R.,2023), "Russia moves to tighten conscription law, pressing more men to fight" (Dixon, R., 2023), and "Russia rushes through law to tighten military conscription" (Sauer, P., 2023), highlight the new conscription law in Russia, its implications, and the concerns it raises.Thankyouforyourattentiontothismatter. Isincerelyhopethatyouwillconsider myrequestfor expedited processing, thereby ensuring the safety and well-being of my children. Please do not hesitate to contact me if any further information or documentation is required.Sincerely,
